To conclude the bacteria unit, students were asked to create children's stories sharing what they learned about their bacteria. See some examples below.
Team T has been watching and discussing video clips of survival stories throughout history. Some of the topics were the Holocaust, Hurricane Katrina, Black Plague, Dust Bowl, Yellow Fever and the Donnor Party. The students completed the ZBL process by reflecting on what all the survivalist had in common and how they survived. They then had to reflect personally. Students either survived the Zombie Apocalypse or were infected! They had to personally reflect on that and if they would survive in real life experience. Please see some examples below.
